{"id":3408,"date":"2018-09-01T05:42:04","date_gmt":"2018-09-01T04:42:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/melyakub.com\/?p=3408"},"modified":"2018-09-01T05:42:04","modified_gmt":"2018-09-01T04:42:04","slug":"gmd-of-nnpc-meets-akk-pipeline-project-financiers-in-dubai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/melyakub.com\/?p=3408","title":{"rendered":"GMD of NNPC Meets AKK Pipeline Project Financiers in Dubai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u2026Charges Them on Timely Delivery of Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru in Dubai, United Arab Emirate directed the Chinese Consortium and the NNPC Project Team on the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Pipeline Project to ensure timely finalization of the term sheet for the project\u2019s contractor financing agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese consortium is made up of Bank of China and Sinosure.<\/p>\n<p>Baru, who had to cut short his holy pilgrimage trip to Saudi Arabia for a stop-over in Dubai to meet with the Chinese consortium reiterated the need for both parties to ensure speedy conclusion on the details of the agreement towards its full execution during Mr. President\u2019s state visit to China next month.<\/p>\n<p>President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to attend the Forum of China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit holding from the 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0to 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0September, 2018 in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
